Management Analyst I
Office of Government and Public Relations
DUTIES:
To provide professional and analytical assistance in the administration and management
of an assigned District program including, identifying, researching and writing
grants, providing design support, and management of the external website; which
also includes managing a newly acquired content management system. This position
will work closely with external consultants; and perform, a variety of analytical
duties related to government and public relations projects as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience: Two years of increasingly responsible analytical experience equivalent
to the Staff Analyst level (or a total of three years of experience) and Training:
Equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
with major course work in public administration, business administration, accounting,
finance, or a related field. Directly related experience may be substituted for
the college requirement on the basis of one and one-half years of experience
for one year of education to a maximum of four years.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENT:
Possession of, or ability to obtain, an appropriate, valid California driver’s
license may be required with determinations made on a case by case basis. Prior
to appointment, candidates will be required to successfully pass a medical examination.
SALARY:
$6,023.33 - $7,338.93 per month—Based on a five-step salary plan
Includes PERS (Public Employees’ Retirement System) Member Contribution
of 7.407%
