We are seeking bilingual candidates for

Art/Production Designer

The Art/Production Designer will be responsible for designing computer generated ads for the newspaper and the weekly edition layout. Will interpret ideas, analyze requirements and produce designs within specified guidelines.

Requirements: Must be bilingual in English/Spanish. Ability to utilize a Macintosh computer and related software and hardware for desktop publishing. Must know QuarkXpress, InDesign, Illustrator, and PhotoShop. Knowledge of Gn3 a plus. Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school in graphic arts or related field; and two to three years related experience and/or training in graphic arts, desktop publishing, newspaper industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to work a flexible schedule, and meet deadlines.
