Event: Come join the Young Professionals International Forum for a splendid day
of games, entertainment, international discussion, and a variety of barbeque
and picnic delights. Our picnic site is at Fort Mason Center, located on 13 waterfront
acres in San Francisco's Marina District and near the Golden Gate Bridge. Bring
your friends, family, children and mingle with others who share an active interest

Event: Hungry Planet: What the World Eats explores the intersection between food
and politics and shows that diet and health are not only influenced by culture,
but also by globalization, poverty, and conflict. Peter Menzel and Faith D'Aluisio
joined 30 families in 24 countries to capture humankind's eating habits. Their
photos are a commentary on the reasons for the similarities and differences.
Join the photojournalists for an opening reception of their photo exhibit being
displayed from August 28-November 6, 2008 featuring their culinary-focused photographs
from around the globe.

Council hosts an advanced screening of Belonging and a panel discussion with
