carolina lugoBrisas de España was founded by award winning Artistic Director-Dancer-Choreographer-Master Teacher, Carolina Lugo. She is widely regarded as one of the most gifted Flamenco-Spanish dance artists of her generation. Carolina is a master of the castanets and Spanish dance. Her music video of her castanet interpretation of "Leyenda", is shown on the nationally broadcast show, Classical Arts Showcase. Carolina has dedicated herself over the last 12 years to preserving the lineage of artistry of La Argentina, Antonio Triana, Luisa Antonio Triana, Lola Montes, Merche Esmeralda, Ciro and Azurin, by teaching the art form of both genres-Flamenco-Spanish dance, to a new generation of artists and dancers. Brisas de España is recognized as one of the top Flamenco-Spanish Dance Company's in the United States. The uniqueness of Brisas de España emanates from the combination of Flamenco-Spanish dance presented on stage by Artistic Director, Carolina Lugo. Her artistic vision which brings top international Flamenco artists from Spain and abroad to grace the stage with her and her company, interweaves the extraordinary talents of these artists with melodic palates of musical virtuosity and colorful step design with the clever staging of dancers and musicians interlacing rhythms with one another to create a colorful canvas of artists on stage.

The fees for our services range depending on the program, number of engagements, length of engagement, number of Brisas de España artists required and distance to which the company travels for the engagement. It is our goal to reach as many communities and schools as possible with our unique performances and educational programs. If there are other schools or organizations within your area that could benefit from Brisas de España programs around the same time of your event, we often negotiate a fee based on multiple engagements within one area.
